PATRIOT ACT SEMINAR WELL RECEIVED

GLEN ROCK, N.J., August 5, 2003 -- The FSI Internal Auditor's User Group sponsored a special joint meeting by inviting Compliance Officers to participate in a session dedicated to the coverage of the Patriot Act. A total of 31 representatives from 17 FSI client banks made for a lively and informative meeting.
Wayne Fisher, AVP-Banking Applications/Technology Department, FSI’s Patriot's Act project manager, gave a three-part presentation reviewing the Act's most recent changes, the results of a questionnaire provided to the attendees prior to the meeting, and FSI's current and future support to meet the final requirements. Announced at the meeting is a strategic partnership entered into between FSI and Bridger Systems, Inc., that will provide for real-time scanning at the new account station and total file query against governmental and business suspect files. Mr. Roger J. Wolf, Esq., Supervising Deputy Attorney General, New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice and Mr. James MacInnes, Supervising State Investigator, New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice, the day's guest speakers, provided the attendees with real-world examples of the government's determination to identify, track-down and prosecute money laundering criminals, be they in it for financial gain or supporting terrorist activities. Mr. Wolf and Mr. MacInnes joined the FSI staff in a panel Q&A session over a working lunch.
Based on the customer feedback, questions asked and interaction of the customers with their peers, the meeting proved to be very beneficial for both FSI and the clients. The FSI Internal Auditor's User Group meets quarterly on the last Thursday of January, April, July, and October.
