FSI ANNOUNCES REMOTE MAINTENANCE |
| GLEN ROCK, N.J., February 1, 2005 -- Financial Services, Inc., a leading provider of data processing, item processing and Internet services to financial institutions nationwide, has introduced a new phase of BankTutor called Remote Maintenance. This time- and money-saving service delivers FSI’s Client Technology and Client Services Associates’ troubleshooting and repair assistance to FSI bank clients without anyone leaving his desk. According to Rob Sassos, Vice President of FSI Client Services, CTS Associates were the first to use this service and have found it to be very convenient to both clients and to his staff. “The time and money that our clients would spend for an on-site visit has been drastically reduced,” he said. “By utilizing Microsoft Live Meeting, the Associate can view and if necessary, take over a client’s desktop in order to resolve a problem, view error messages, and monitor users’ key strokes.” He continued, “If the bank’s network is set up to allow for access to other branches, maintenance can be done via one workstation at the bank to multiple branches.” Sassos noted that Remote Maintenance has important security features. “The bank itself controls access to a client’s workstation and FSI cannot reach a user’s desktop without access being granted by the end user,” he said.
