FSI PROTECTS CLIENTS WITH SECURE INTERNET |
| GLEN ROCK, N.J., January 2, 2005 – FSI today announced the continued success of its Secure Internet service in protecting its clients against viruses, spam, hackers, spyware and trojans: FSI Clients signing up for Secure Internet are provided with a firewall-protected connection to the Internet through their existing frame relay connections. FSI hardens existing routers’ configuration and offer an Internet feed filtered by perimeter routers. According to Rob Sassos, Vice President of FSI Client Services, “A strong selling point of Secure Internet is that all firewall configurations are based on bank client policies—FSI does not force its customers into a `one size fits all’ solution.” FSI clients are also taking advantage of Secure Mail, another feature of Secure Internet. Secure Mail filters all incoming and outgoing email and examines it for threats. Mail can also be firewall-protected in both directions. Further protection is provided by SecureMailFilter, which provides spam filtering, including blacklist filtering, keyword filtering and fingerprint filtering, and SecureMailAudit, which can monitor how employees are using your email. Says Sassos, “Secure Mail works if you have a mail server you want to keep using, and also if you want to have your mail housed on an FSI-supplied server.
