USER GROUP MEETING GOES NATIONAL |
| GLEN ROCK, N.J., January 27, 2004 -- Financial Services, Inc., a leading provider of data processing, item processing and Internet services to financial institutions nationwide, today held its first national, interactive user group meeting. The meeting, held for internal auditors, included representatives from Ramona National Bank and Landmark National Bank in California and Marine Bank of The Florida Keys. These users joined members of the Internal Auditor's User Group who were present at FSI's data center in Glen Rock, New Jersey. Although it was very early in California, the attendees were wide-awake and enthusiastic as they were able to partake in the meeting over their morning coffee. John Harris, Senior Vice President and Business Continuity Manager, FSI, presented “Business Continuity Planning, FSI and You.” Based on the questions asked during the meeting and the feedback received shortly thereafter, the members expressed that the subject was very timely and informative. In addition to illustrating and describing FSI's planning and readiness for a business interruption, Harris also covered the disaster recovery testing that takes place to ensure that FSI is always in a state of readiness to respond when called upon. Wayne Fischer, Vice President, Banking Applications, FSI, presented FSI's new product “BankWatch.” This new product is a result of FSI partnering with ChoicePoint/Bridger to offer its World Tracker solution to assist its clients in meeting the USA Patriot Act’s Know-Your-Customer requirements. In addition to demonstrating to the members how they can use the product together with BankInfo to conduct audits, Fischer also reviewed the composite statistics made available from testing. Scanning will take place at FSI's facility and bank-specific statistics will be made available the next business day to clients via BankView, FSI’s optical report archiving system.
