| Glen Rock, New Jersey, September 15, 2004 – Financial Services, Inc., a leading provider of data processing, item processing and Internet services to financial institutions nationwide, today released Version 4.0 of Spectrum, its Windows-based program that integrates multiple FSI subsystems into a single package with a user-friendly interface. Spectrum 4.0 contains a number of enhancements designed to incorporate new features in FSI's BankNet core processing system, and to work with user-installed third-party programs. Among the significant developments in Spectrum 4.0 are the following.
- Integration of “Super CIF” into Spectrum New Account: the New Account application will work with Super CIF as well as with Name and Address. Spectrum users who switch to Super CIF from Name and Address will be able to make a smooth transition to this significantly different method of opening a new account.
- Integration of Automated Check Ordering: Spectrum 4.0 ties to the PC-based Deluxe program and the Web-based Clarke American program for automated check ordering, passing along relevant information entered during the New Account process.
- Downloading of Interest Rates to Spectrum New Account: Rates from bank controls automatically port to Spectrum 4.0.
- Addition of TDC Field to All Retail Transactions: A new transaction field for descriptor code, added to Spectrum 4.0, allows
users to generate notices and fees for any retail transaction.
- Integration of Connect2000: Spectrum 4.0 incorporates Connect 2000, FSI’s interface between third-party loan origination systems and FSI’s BankNet Loan System.
